DENVER — A 50,000-square-foot off-leash dog park and bar has opened its first location in Colorado.
Skiptown opened the location this month in York Street Yards in the River North district at 3833 Steele St.
The dog facility offers an off-leash, indoor and outdoor turfed dog bar and park, along with pet care services including daycare, boarding, grooming and dog training.
The park's indoor and outdoor areas include a splash pad, shaded areas, seating and natural elements, as well as a bar that serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The park's 20,000-square-foot, 21-and-older outdoor space food and drink options including of coffee, expresso drinks, lattes and cold brew through a partnership with Queen City. A full-service beer, wine and cocktail bar has 20 draft beers from Colorado breweries including Ratio Beerworks and Second Dawn Brewing.
Skiptown said its daycare, overnight boarding, grooming and in-house dog training can be booked on its mobile app.
Skiptown will host a grand opening event over the Oct. 18-20 weekend with free giveaways, drink specials, food trucks and raffles for pet care, grooming and boarding.
The opening of the Denver location marks a milestone in Skiptown’s national expansion. Skiptown's flagship facility is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, which opened in 2020. Skiptown Atlanta is scheduled to open later this year.
