Sam Hunt announces Colorado amphitheatre concert

The country music star is known for his No. 1 hits “Body Like a Back Road,” “Kinfolks” and “Breaking Up Was Easy in the 90s.”

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — Sam Hunt is returning with a new album and North American concert tour.

The country music star announced a headlining summer "Locked Up Tour" Monday morning.

Named for Hunt's new EP "Locked Up," the new 20-city tour launches June 28 in Oregon and continues through September in the United States and Canada.

The tour features support from Russell Dickerson, George Birge (in the U.S.), and Dalton Dover (in Canada).

The tour includes a stop at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village on Friday, Aug. 2.

General ticket sales begin Friday, April 5, at 10 a.m. at AXS.com.

Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre is considered one of the best places to catch live music in Colorado each summer.

With a traditional capacity of 18,000, the venue is the largest outdoor amphitheater in the Denver metro area. Located near Interstate 25 and Orchard in the Denver Tech Center, Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre offers chair-back and lawn seating.
