LAKEWOOD, Colo. — QuikTrip its celebrating the grand opening of its newest Colorado locations.
The gas station and convenience store company has opened its 11th and 12th locations in Colorado, with four more locations scheduled to open throughout 2024 and others in early 2025.
QT has opened a location in Lakewood at 5201 W. Mississippi Ave., at the northwest corner of South Sheridan Boulevard and West Mississippi Avenue.
The second QuikTrip in Denver has opened at 6477 E. Evans Ave., between Interstate 25 and South Monaco St. Parkway.

Each of the new stores will create approximately two dozen new jobs, and applications are being accepted online.
QuikTrip opened its first Colorado locations in Firestone, Denver and Bennett in 2022. It has since opened stores in Thornton, Greenwood Village, Parker, Evans, Mead, Monument and Lakewood.
The company, which operates 1,000 stores in 17 states, said it plans to continue expanding throughout Colorado, including in the Denver metro area.

In 2022, the QuikTrip in Firestone was part of a price war between gas stations that resulted in the cheapest fuel in Colorado.
