PARKER, Colo. — QuikTrip has begun its expansion into Colorado.

The gas station and convenience store company has opened its fourth store in Colorado and more are planned this year.

The new "QT" store opened last week in Parker, southeast of Denver. The store is located at 16791 Market St., near Jordan Road and E-470.

QuikTrip opened its first Colorado location in Firestone at the intersection of Interstate 25 and Firestone Blvd, near St. Vrain State Park, last June. A second location opened in July at Interstate 70 and Central Park Boulevard. QuikTrip's third location opened in October in Bennett, east of Aurora.

The company, which now operates 900 stores in 16 states, said it plans to continue expanding throughout the Denver area. Additional stores scheduled to open in Thornton, Greenwood Village, Evans and Meade this year.

“We are excited to introduce QuikTrip in Parker. We look forward to customers experiencing our unique QuikTrip brand and culture,” said Aisha Jefferson-Smith, QuikTrip’s Corporate Communications Manager. “We look forward to creating meaningful connections with our new customers as well as contributing to the community in intentional ways.”

Founded in 1958 in Tulsa, QuikTrip said its stores have a full-service kitchen with made-to-order snackles, QTea, coffee, donuts, salads, wraps, pizza by the slice and roller grill items.

In 2022, the QuikTrip in Firestone was part of a price war between gas stations that has resulted in the cheapest fuel in Colorado.
