COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top have announced their co-headlining tour will come back to Colorado this summer.
The "Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour," which was launched last year, will continue through the summer and into September.
The bands have announced two concerts in Colorado in September.
Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top will perform at Blue Arena in Loveland on Friday, Sept. 27. Lynyrd Skynyrd will close the concert.
The legends will then perform at the still-under-construction Sunset Amphitheater in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Sept. 28. ZZ Top will close this concert.
Tickets for both concerts go on sale Friday, March 15, at 10 a.m. at AXS.com. An artist presale begins Wednesday, March 13, at 10 a.m.
Lynyrd Skynyrd are perhaps best known for their mega hits "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird." Lynyrd Skynyrd was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
Formed in 1969, ZZ Top was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. ZZ Top bassist and co-founder Dusty Hill died in July 2021 at 72.
