FORT COLLINS, Colo — Krispy Kreme is preparing to open a new doughnut shop in northern Colorado.

Krispy Kreme said it will celebrate the grand opening of a new location in Fort Collins on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

The 3,505-square-foot shop will be located at 4624 S. Mason St., that's near East Harmony Road and South College Avenue.

This will be Krispy Kreme's first shop in Fort Collins and its fourth location in Colorado, joining other doughnut shops in Lone Tree, Thornton and Colorado Springs.

Krispy Kreme said starting Tuesday, Aug. 13, and through Sunday, Aug. 18, it will randomly surprise 10 dozen (120) guests with a "Celebration Dozen Ticket" that provides one free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts every month for a year.

The Fort Collins Krispy Kreme will be open seven days a week: from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“Known for our iconic doughnuts and premium coffee, Krispy Kreme is one of the most beloved sweet treat brands around,” said Mireya Hernandez, vice president of WKS Krispy Kreme. “We are excited to expand our footprint in the Fort Collins community and look forward to serving our new neighbors melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts and delicious drinks, morning through night.”
