How to get tickets to 'Hamilton' in Denver

Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway hit is coming back to the Mile High City after previously performing in Denver in 2018 and 2022.

DENVER — After sold-out runs in Denver in 2018 and 2022, "Hamilton" is finally coming back to the Mile High City.

The national tour of the hit musical will perform at the Buell Theatre in downtown Denver from Oct. 16 to Nov. 24.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) announced Tuesday that single tickets for "Hamilton" will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, July 9, at 10 a.m. MT, online at hamilton.denvercenter.org or by phone at 303-893-4100.

"Hamilton" ticket prices will range from $49 to $199 with a select number of premium seats available from $229 for all performances. DCPA said there will be a maximum purchase limit of nine tickets per account for the engagement.

There will also be a lottery for 40 $10 seats for all performances. Details for the lottery will be announced closer to the engagement.

"Hamilton" is not part of the DCPA 2024/25 Broadway subscription ticket package, but is an "added attraction."

However, patrons with a subscription package will have priority access to purchase tickets from June 11 to June 17, based on availability. Those who buy a season subscription before June 11 will have early access to "Hamilton" tickets.

"It’s tempting to get tickets any way you can," said producer Jeffrey Seller. "There are many sites and people that are selling overpriced, and in some cases, fraudulent tickets. For the best seats, the best prices and to eliminate the risk of counterfeit tickets, all purchases for the Denver engagement should be made through hamilton.denvercenter.org."

"Hamilton" is the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first treasury secretary.

"Hamilton" features book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The musical features a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway.

In addition to 11 Tony Awards, "Hamilton" has won Grammy, Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and a special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.
