DENVER — Stars of "Christmas Vacation" and "X-Men: First Class" are joining Colorado's largest pop culture celebration.
Chevy Chase, James McAvoy and Sam Raimi have been announced as part of the celebrity guest lineup at Fan Expo Denver.
Fan Expo Denver runs from Friday, June 30, to Sunday, July 2, at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.
Chase, known for his roles in "Vacation," "Christmas Vacation," "Caddyshack" and "Community," will appear at the event on Saturday and Sunday.
"X-Men: First Class," "Split," and "Chronicles of Narnia" actor McAvoy is scheduled to be at the festival on Saturday.
Raimi, director of Hollywood films including "Spider-Man," "The Evil Dead" and "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," will appear Saturday and Sunday.
"After an incredible event in 2022, we are very excited to kick-off 2023’s Fan Expo Denver with such a strong lineup of popular celebrities," said Andrew Moyes, vice president of Fan Expo HQ. "Our Denver fans have proven to be huge supporters of pop culture conventions, and we can’t wait to bring the Fan Expo experience to everyone for the third year."
