DENVER — The largest science museum in Colorado has made some upgrades to its popular dinosaur exhibit.
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science said visitors to its "Prehistoric Journey" exhibit can now see the upgrades, which have been in the works for two years.
The exhibit's dinosaur creek bed received electrical upgrades as well as a new dynamic lighting installation.
"We're thrilled to invite you to rediscover a familiar space that's been transformed through innovation and collaboration — the 'Prehistoric Journey' creek bed," the museum posted to social media. "This upgrade is the culmination of a two-year journey, a testament to the dedication and combined efforts of various teams across our museum."
The new lightning features will allow visitors to see an entire day's cycle in three and a half minutes.
"Guests may imagine feeling the warmth of the sun as it arcs across the 'sky,' witness the play of light and shadow, and be enveloped in the hues of sunset before the stars take over the night," the museum shared.
