DENVER — One of Colorado's largest farmers markets is returning for a fourth year.
The City Park Farmers Market opens Saturday at 2551 E. Colfax Ave., across from Denver’s East High School.
The market will run every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May through October.
Organizers said the market will have more than 100 total vendors, including 15 new sellers in 2024.
Other activations include a run club at 8 a.m., donation-based yoga at 9 a.m. and live music from local acts.
Common Name Farm and Brown Dog Farm have joined the market this year. River Bear Meats, Black Gold Family Farm and Conscious Farms add charcuterie, pork and poultry to the market’s offerings. Organizers said 23 farms and ranches will be represented throughout the season.
“We really considered how to fill grocery shopping and meal planning gaps this year so that people can legitimately source local ethical food six months of the year,” market co-owner Peter Wanberg said. “We did this while ensuring all partners and products fit the ethos of what we want our farmers market to be, which is a local growers-focused market.”
