Cheyenne Frontier Days launching its 2025 season

Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo tickets, carnival armbands and gift cards go on sale Dec. 5.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — It might be December, but the Daddy of 'Em All is already looking ahead to summer.

Cheyenne Frontier Days is gearing up for its 2025 event, with rodeo tickets, carnival armbands and gift cards going on sale Thursday at 9 a.m. at CFDRodeo.com.

Held the last full week of July, Cheyenne Frontier Days is a huge, 10-day Western celebration.

The event offers the world's largest outdoor rodeo, which draws the top pros who compete for more than $1 million in prize money. Those who move ahead in this tournament-style format will compete on Championship Sunday, where champions are crowned and buckles are awarded.

Frontier Nights concerts

The top names in country music will again be part of CFD with nightly concerts at Frontier Park.

Cheyenne Frontier Days said it will announce the concert performers and schedule in March 2025.

The 12th annual Cheyenne Frontier Days runs Friday, July 18, through Sunday, July 27, 2025.

The event has been held every July since 1897, except for 2020, so that Cheyenne can celebrate its Old West roots. Frontier Days carried on through both World Wars and the Great Depression, when tough finances prompted it to become a mostly volunteer-run festival of rodeo, music concerts, parades and other events.
