DENVER — Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award-winning singer, composer, director, author, actor, and playwright Billy Porter is hitting the road for a new live tour.
The "Black Mona Lisa Tour: Volume 1" was announced Thursday on NBC's "Today" with a slate of performance dates this spring.
Porter will visit 25 cities across the country beginning April 29 in Seattle and ending in Connecticut on June 3.
Porter's tour includes a stop at the Buell Theatre in Denver on Tuesday, May 2.
Tickets for the Denver tour stop go on sale Friday, March 10, at AXS.com.
Tour organizers said the 90-minute event will feature Porter's hits “Love Is on the Way” and “Love Yourself,” a tinge of Broadway, a nod to "Pose," and performances of songs from his new album "Black Mona Lisa."
The tour will feature a full band, backed by a video installation, fronted by Porter telling his life story through song.
