COLORADO, USA — U.S. News & World Report said five Colorado hotels are among the best 100 lodging facilities in the United States.
In its 13th annual Best Hotels rankings, the report analyzed more than 35,000 hotels to help travelers across the country.
Acqualina Resort & Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, took the No. 1 ranking on the Best Hotels list for the first time.
At No. 19, The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs was the highest-ranked Colorado hotel.
Two Aspen properties made the top 100: The Little Nell in Aspen at No. 49 and Hotel Jerome at No. 64.
Four Seasons Resort in Vail was ranked at No. 58, one spot above the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
Four Seasons Hotel in Denver was ranked in the report at No. 99.
Telluride's Madeline Hotel just missed the top 100, landing at No. 102 in the 2023 report from U.S. News & World Report.
"The travel industry has evolved over the last decade, highlighting the need to support and recognize hotels that maintain excellent standards and consistently provide guests with outstanding hospitality," U.S. News Senior Travel Editor Zach Watson said. "The 2023 Best Hotels rankings offer a list of dependable places to stay for every type of trip, from solo trips to romantic getaways to family vacations."
