COLORADO, USA — What would we do without man’s best friend?
National Dog Day allows dog owners, pet enthusiasts, canine photography enthusiasts, and all dog lovers to celebrate our furry friends who have been with us for at least 14,000 years.
The Aug. 26 holiday was first established in 2004. Many use the day to spread awareness of all the pups in shelters that are in need of a forever home.
We'd love to feature your dog photos on 9NEWS, 9NEWS.com and on the 9NEWS app.
