DENVER — Bill Husted, a longtime Denver columnist known for his sense of humor and way with words, died Saturday at age 76.
Husted came to Colorado in 1983 to try journalism and was an immediate hit, writing about nightlife, the social scene and entertainment for the Rocky Mountain News and later the Denver Post. He also covered those same aspects of life on television, reporting for 9NEWS and other Denver TV stations for 20 years.
In September, he was inducted into the Denver Press Club Hall of Fame.
