PARKER - A Parker high school student decided to look to his sense of smell for an original 'promposal' (yes, that's a thing now).

The creative plan not only worked to secure him a date for the evening, it also drew the attention of a popular men's brand, Old Spice.

Felipe Prado, a senior at Legend High School, scored a free limousine ride for him and 25 of his closest friends, after his promposal caught the attention of the men's fragrance brand famous for its ridiculous advertisements.

It was a parody of Old Spice's "I'm on a horse" commercial.

Prado 'promposed' on April 9, posting it on Twitter, and soon the tweet caught the attention of the company. Yes, he actually rode a steed to meet his lady in waiting.

At the end of the series of scented clues, his lady friend said, "Yes!"

Prado's date will be his good friend Kara Wachsmann. Prado said he came up with the idea while he was at work, searching for unique promposals. He saw one in California where someone rode an actual horse, and it sparked the parody idea.

"I never thought any of this would of been such a big deal," Prado said.

Not only will the Parker teenager smell really great (although that's a personal preference, of course) at this weekend's prom, he'll also have this keepsake from the "Old Spice Guy," who only added to the ridiculousness of the whole situation.

Remember kids, the internet lives forever.
