New children's book celebrates diversity.

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Football fans may remember Minnesota Associate Supreme Court Justice Alan Page for his prolific Hall of Fame NFL career, but for the past 27 years he and the Page Education Foundation have been tackling barriers to higher education for youth of color.

Inspired by his work with the foundation and love of education, Alan and his daughter Kamie Page have penned their second children's book, The Invisible You. Its story focuses on both the importance of diversity and its ability to be a tremendous asset in the classroom.

The public is invited to the book launch on Sunday, December 14 at Open Book in downtown Minneapolis. All the proceeds go to The Page Education Foundation, the 27-year old charity that helps provide educational grants for students of color pursuing higher education.
