KUSA - If you spent this weekend watering your lawn or those flowers you just planted, you may have noticed if your hose has sprung a leak since the long winter.
One simple fix if the hose is leaking water from the "female" attachment, or the side that gets attached to your house, is to buy a washer and pop it in.
If the plastic or rubber on the hose itself is cracked or broken, there is also a simple, five-minute fix that can save you the $40 for a new hose, and save some space in your trash can, too.
To see how easy it is, watch Bob Wheeler with The Big Toolbox hardware store in the video above show you how to repair a broken hose with a clamp, some sturdy scissors, and a screwdriver.
