DENVER — Wreaths will be laid at cemeteries across the United States this weekend for Wreaths Across America.
Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver will be one of the cemeteries holding a ceremony to honor veterans of each branch of the military, prisoners of war and those still missing in action.
The Wreaths Across America ceremony at Fort Logan National Cemetery will start at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Committal Shelter A.
Placement of wreaths will begin following the ceremony at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday. Volunteers are needed to help place wreaths.
The public is also invited to sponsor a wreath. There are 123,048 veteran graves at Fort Logan. Wreaths Across America has a goal of placing 20,000 wreaths this year.
