For the 28th year, thousands of twinkling lights have taken over the Denver Botanic Gardens.

The Blossoms of Light is open from now until Jan. 1.

Visitors can stroll through 23 acres of lights when the Gardens reopens each night from 5:30 until 9:00 p.m.

It's a popular Denver tradition. Erin Bird, with the Botanic Gardens says they average just under 2,000 visitors per night. And frigid weather doesn't seem to keep people away. This past weekend, with temperatures in the single digits, they were still packed.

Snacks and warm drinks are available throughout the path and a few interactive displays keep kids and adults entertained.

Tickets are $13 for adults and discounts are offered for military, students, garden members, children and seniors.
