COLORADO, USA — AMC Network has unveiled its slate of holiday programming.
The cable channel's "Best Christmas Ever" lineup will be the home of such holiday classics as "National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation," "The Polar Express," and "Elf."
AMC Network said it will air more than 550 hours of Christmas-themed movies, specials and family films through Thursday, Dec. 26.
Highlights of the AMC and AMC+ holiday schedule include the 35th anniversary of "National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation," the 20th anniversary of "Christmas with the Kranks" and the 20th anniversary of "The Polar Express."
Other classics include "Miracle on 34th Street" from 1947 and the Rankin/Bass holiday stop-motion specials "Jack Frost," "Rudolph’s Shiny New Year," "The First Christmas Snow," "Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July," "'Twas the Night Before Christmas," and "Frosty’s Winter Wonderland."
