Blue Bell releases new flavor inspired by Root Beer Float

A&W Root Beer Float is a creamy vanilla ice cream swirled together with an A&W Root Beer flavored sherbet.

BRENHAM, Texas — A new flavor from Blue Bell combines two favorites and is now available for a limited time.

The Texas-based creamery, located in Brenham, just released a brand new flavor called A&W Root Beer Float, in partnership with the classic beverage brand.

A&W Root Beer Float is a creamy vanilla ice cream swirled together with an A&W Root Beer-flavored sherbet.

“We received many requests for an A&W Root Beer Float Ice Cream,” said John Neal Robinson, Blue Bell general sales manager. “After the huge success of Dr Pepper Float Ice Cream last year, we were ready to work together on another delicious flavor. We recommend enjoying a few scoops in a chilled mug just like your favorite root beer.”

The flavor is released in all 23 states where Blue Bell is sold. If you are not in one of those states, Blue Bell does ship nationwide.
