DENVER — An Academy Award-winning actor and "Avengers" superhero will appear at Colorado's biggest pop culture celebration.
Brie Larson is the latest guest addition to the lineup of Fan Expo Denver this weekend.
Larson, who won the Oscar for Best Actress for "Room" in 2016, starred as the superhero Captain Marvel in "Captain Marvel," "Avengers: End Game" and "The Marvels."
Fan Expo Denver, which has expanded to four days this year, will be held Thursday through Sunday at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.
Hundreds of figures of film, television, animation art and literature are scheduled to appear at the pop culture convention.
Fans will be able to meet, get autographs and take photos with celebrities, animation voice actors, comic creators, authors and cosplayers.
The festival also has hundreds of retailers in a shopping area of more than 300,000 square feet with shirts, games, toys, memorabilia, comic books and artwork.
Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, stars of the 1991 film "Thelma & Louise," were added last month to the Fan Expo lineup.
Five cast members of the long-running television series "Supernatural" have also been added to the lineup at the Denver convention: Jared Padalecki, Mark Sheppard, Alexander Calvert, Jim Beaver and Ruth Connell.
"My Name is Earl" stars Jason Lee and Ethan Suplee; "The Office" star Rainn Wilson; "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor Sean Gunn, "Christmas Vacation" actor Randy Quaid, "The Lord of the Rings" actor Andy Serkis, Michelle Hurd from "Star Trek: Picard," and "Ahsoka" star Rosario Dawson are also among the guests scheduled to appear at the show.
"Saved by the Bell" star Mario Lopez has also joined the lineup in Denver. Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs of the long-running television series "Charmed" are also set to reunite at Fan Expo.
"Star Wars: The Clone Wars" voice actors Matt Lanter (Anakin), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan), Dee Bradley Baker (Captain Rex) and Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka in the animated series) are also among those on the celebrity schedule.
