LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A curious baby bobcat got his head stuck in a fence and was rescued by animal control officers in Lakewood on Tuesday.
The little guy got his head caught in a fence near Alameda Parkway and Utah Avenue near Green Mountain, according to a tweet from the Lakewood Police Department (LPD).
As soon as wildlife crews were able to get him out, the bobcat scurried up a nearby tree for safety.
LPD said a mama bobcat kept a watchful eye on her son during the whole rescue, the tweet says. The two were reunited once the baby bobcat was freed.
Great work, everyone!
