DENVER — A restaurant at Denver International Airport has been named one of the 100 highest-grossing independent eateries in the U.S. by trade publication Restaurant Business.
Timberline Steaks and Grille, located in the C concourse at DIA, came in at No. 69 on the list, with annual sales of $14.7 million. It serves an estimated 642,836 meals per year and the average check for the 158-seat restaurant is estimated at $22.
Last year, Timberline ranked No. 91. It's the only Colorado restaurant on the list, which is dominated by restaurants in New York.
