Do you ever get sick of seeing those perfectly-posed, photoshopped news anchor headshots? Yeah, we do too. You’re guaranteed to not see one of those here.
We set out to take a family-style photo at the Lifetouch Photography/ JC Penney Portrait Studio (yes, JC Penney does still have a portrait studio) at Park Meadows Mall, one of the busiest sites for Lifetouch Photography studio locations set up in the department store.
Portrait Studio Manager Ty Lewis has helped lots of unhappy babies take the perfect photo. But he perhaps didn’t know what he was getting into when he agreed to help the 9NEWS Weekend morning team make a personalized Christmas card.
“Yeah, you guys are pretty difficult,” he said with a smile while fluffing up fake pine trees.
Even the store’s general manager Clay Evans had to laugh at some of the ridiculousness unfolding in-studio.
9NEWS anchors Steve Staeger and TaRhonda Thomas, meteorologist Belen DeLeon, sports anchor Taylor Temby, and directors Ansley Guthrie and Cyrus Allen did a photoshoot that would make Naomi Campbell jealous.
