Soon after graduatingfrom college, I couldn't wait to land my first job in Los Angeles. My eyes wereset on Hollywood. My first national show was "Home and Family" tapedright on the Universal Studios Lot. I was in TV heaven! I was the TalentExecutive Assistant. I helped to coordinate and write all of the celebritysegments. During my time inL.A., I also produced for Lifetime TV, MTV and USA Network.WhileI enjoyed the excitement of the entertainment world, I then decided to pursuemy news career. My first anchor/reporting job was in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I'moriginally a farm girl from Thermopolis, Wyoming. So, I was thrilled to begetting back to my roots. While in Cheyenne, I launched a brand new morningshow, "Rush Hour." I also anchored in Casper, Wyoming.Now, I'm staying putfor good! I have had my eyes set on the Denver market for years. Not only do Iget to produce and guest host on "Colorado and Company," but I alsofeature my weekly segments "Meals in a Rush" and "Rushin' Around." My producing and on-camera career started while going to college in San Diego, CA with Cox Communications. I was the host of a local cable show, "Backstage Pass." This entertainment driven show allowed me to interview Hollywood celebrities and cover red carpet events for such things as the MTV Movie Awards and Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards. Also, during this time, I was interning with the show "EXTRA" and was featured as a one-time special correspondent.
