KUSA – The list of benefits to living in Colorado just added one more benefit: a high likelihood of surviving the zombie apocalypse.
Colorado comes in 3rd on the list "U.S. States Ranked From Most to Least Likely to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse." The list, created by Estately, a real estate company, used 11 metrics to rank the states.

- Paintball Enthusiasts

According to Estately's blog, "Coloradans are well known to be among the most physically fit in the country so when zombies start crawling out of their graves, most of the state's residents will be miles away, easily jogging up a 10,000-foot mountain."
New Jersey ranked dead last on the list. "If the zombie apocalypse began today, and you live in New Jersey, the odds are 100% that you've already been bitten and have become a zombie."
Ryan Nickum, Blogger for Estately, says the list was created to stand out from other lists. It's meant to be a fun way to compare different aspects of states that most other lists don't include.
"There are hundreds of top city lists out there. We want to highlight locations in a unique way," Nickum said. "Zombies seemed like the way to go."
