The Sunset Amphitheater, now under construction in north Colorado Springs, is the newest music venue in Colorado.

The 8,000-seat open-air amphitheater plans to open for its first concert on Friday, Aug. 9, at the Polaris Pointe development near the Air Force Academy, with headliner OneRepublic.
