Jhené Aiko to play Ball Arena on North American tour

After her breakthrough album received Grammy nominations, including for Album of the Year, Aiko performed "America the Beautiful" at Super Bowl LVI.

DENVER — R&B star Jhené Aiko has announced her first headlining tour in five years.

"The Magic Hour Tour" will visit 26 arenas across North America starting June 19 in Detroit. The tour will feature special guests Coi Leray, Tink, Umi, and Kiana Lede.

Aiko's new tour includes a stop at Ball Arena in Denver on Saturday, Aug. 17.

Tickets for the tour went on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at JheneAiko.com.

Before "The Magic Hour Tour" begins, Aiko will perform both Sundays at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

In 2020, Aiko receive three Grammy Award nominations for her album "Chilombo." In 2022, Aiko performed “America the Beautiful” at Super Bowl LVI.

Home to the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth, Ball Arena opened in downtown Denver on Oct. 1, 1999, with a sold-out concert by Celine Dion.

Formerly known as the Pepsi Center, the arena seats up to 20,000 for concerts and other events. Ball Arena hosts more than 250 events each year.
