The Doobie Brothers to bring new US tour to Colorado

The Doobie Brothers have sold 48 million albums and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.

DENVER — Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band The Doobie Brothers are hitting the road for a new tour.

"The 2024 Tour" will visit 38 cities across the United States beginning June 15 in Seattle. Robert Cray and Steve Winwood will join the tour on select dates.

The tour will make a Denver stop at Ball Arena on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, with special guest Steve Winwood.

The tour follows The Doobie Brothers' 50th anniversary tour which had Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons, and John McFee on the road together for the first time in over 25 years.

General ticket sales begin Friday, Jan. 26, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com.

Citi cardmembers will have presale ticket access beginning Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 10 a.m. until Thursday, Jan. 25, at 10 p.m.

Home to the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth, Ball Arena opened in downtown Denver on Oct. 1, 1999, with a sold-out concert by Celine Dion.

Formerly known as the Pepsi Center, the arena seats up to 20,000 for concerts and other events. Ball Arena hosts more than 250 events each year.
