New music venue opening in RiNo

The 4,000-square-foot space will feature light food, craft cocktails, beer, wine and other beverages as well as live entertainment six nights a week.

DENVER — The ownership behind the Denver bars Hudson Hill, Lady Jane and The Wild is expanding into the music venue business.

Pearl Street Hospitality, which operates three bars in Capitol Hill, LoHi and LoDo, is set to open Two Moons Music Hall in March at 2944 Larimer St. in the River North Art District. The 4,000-square-foot space will feature light food, craft cocktails, beer, wine and other beverages as well as live entertainment six nights a week.

“It's a fantastic location. It's right in the heart of RiNo,” said Jake Soffes, founder and managing partner at Pearl Street Hospitality.

He said he also liked the 2900 block of Larimer Street because of the nonprofit RiNo Art District’s efforts to keep the block permanently closed to cars. He said the endeavor to do so has opened up opportunities to partner and get to know his other neighboring businesses on the block, such as Ratio Beerworks and Finn’s Manor.

Most nights of the week, Two Moons will focus on a specific genre of music — blues, jazz, Latin or hip hop, to name a few — featuring different musicians and bands.
