Aerosmith to say 'Peace Out' to Colorado on farewell tour

Every night will celebrate the five decades of Aerosmith hits as the group says goodbye. The Black Crowes will join the new run of concerts.

DENVER — Aerosmith is returning to the road after previously postponing several dates of their farewell tour.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band announced the return of the "Peace Out" tour beginning Sept. 20 in Pittsburgh.

The new dates will feature special guest The Black Crowes.

The new run of concerts will be performed in an immersive 360-degree production.

Aerosmith's previously scheduled concert at Ball Arena in Denver on Nov. 19, 2023, will now be held Monday, Nov. 18, 2024.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows. Ticketholders will receive more information via email Wednesday.

Tickets for the rescheduled dates and newly added shows are on sale Friday, April 12, at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com.

Aerosmith postponed their concert run last fall after frontman Steven Tyler injured his vocal cords during a performance.

"I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days," Tyler posted on Instagram. "I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve."

“It’s not goodbye it’s 'Peace Out!' Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives,” Aerosmith shared in a statement.

"Every night will celebrate the five decades of Aerosmith’s groundbreaking hits as they celebrate 50 years as America’s greatest rock band," said concert promoter Live Nation.
