DENVER – For 26 years, people have lined up on a Saturday in December to buy a very special music CD.
KBCO's Studio C CD will be on sale Saturday starting at 8 a.m. at 20 Whole Food stores across Colorado. This disc features 18 artists, who recorded intimate songs in the KBCO studios.
Among them, The Oh Hellos, Passenger, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Fray, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Lana Del Rey and many others.
Although the artists may be commonly known, the Studio C version is always very unique. KBCO Morning show host Bret Saunders says over the years, the annual disc has raised tons of money for the Boulder County AIDS Project and Food Bank of the Rockies.
KBCO Studio C CD Vol. 26 goes on sale Saturday, but the discs usually sell out by noon.
