The Colorado Council of Churches announced they are canceling the Red Rocks Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday, due to the amount of snowfall at the venue.

According to Adrian Miller, the executive director of the Colorado Council of Churches, it would cost thousands of dollars to remove the snow, something the nonprofit organization is not able to afford.
