GREELEY, Colo. — One of the biggest Independence Day parades in Colorado returned to the streets of Greeley.
The 2024 Greeley Stampede Independence Day Parade stepped off at 9 a.m. Thursday.
The parade started on the University of Northern Colorado campus at 10th Avenue and 19th Street and runs along 10th Avenue to 5th Street just past Lincoln Park.
The Fourth of July parade had more than 120 floats, marching bands and equestrians from around Colorado and surrounding states.
Lynn and Deb Casseday served as the 2024 grand marshals for the parade. Greeley Stampede organizers said Lynn, a Greeley native, and Deb have a long history within the Greeley community.
The Greeley Stampede opened June 26 and continues through Sunday, July 7, at Island Grove Regional Park.
