Lili Reinhart has come a long way.
The Riverdale star revealed opened up to fans on Saturday about her struggle with depression before the CW series was picked up for a full season last year.
"I cried tears of joy. In that moment I became a working actress with a steady job. Something I had been working towards for 7 years," Reinhart tweeted. "And now here we are, gearing up to film season 2. And I could not be more grateful. Riverdale came into my life when I was going through the worst depression I had ever experienced. And in the end it completely saved me."

Since it's mental health awareness month, I figured it would be good to share that. I worked my ass off to make a living out of what I love

With Riverdale picked up for season two, Reinhart is clearly at the top of her game.
ET caught up with Molly Ringwald, who plays Archie's mom on the series, Mary, last month, who revealed that she was so impressed with her young co-stars, that she didn't offer them much advice.
"I'd tell them it's a lot of fun. It's fun and it's hard work. You have to be very mentally stable and have a good family background," the actress confessed, adding that she "really makes a point of not giving advice."
"People really need to kind of figure out their own path," she said.
