The 24th season of Dancing With the Stars is on its way, and Witney Carson is getting ready to return to the stage with a new partner!

The returning DWTS pro sat down with ET's Brice Sander and Kristen Gill for a Facebook Live interview on Monday, where she opened up about the "interesting" upcoming season, and her "very different" partner.

While Carson couldn't reveal who her partner would be -- as the full official cast announcement won't be made until Wednesday -- she said she's "super excited" about the pairing.

"I didn't know who he was, so there's something for ya," Carson hinted. "It's a different partner than I've ever had before… He's very, very sweet, very nice and hilarious."

While Carson's pairing has not yet been announced, a few celebrity contestants have already been confirmed, as well as a number of returning pros.

A-Team star Mr. T will be taking to the stage with Kym Johnson, Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles will be competing with Sasha Farber, and Bachelor Nick Viall will be dancing with longtime pro and new mom Peta Murgatroyd.

Additionally, Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei will be partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Erika Jayne will be paired with Gleb Savchenko, bull rider Bonner Bolton with be taking on the competition with Sharna Burgess and entertainer Charo will be partnered with Keo Motsepe.

ET has also confirmed that Glee's Heather Morris will also be competing, along with ex-NFL running back Rashad Jennings and Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan, although their partners have not yet been announced.

It's possible that Carson could be paired with with either Jennings or Kattan, but she wasn't ready to leak any spoilers ahead of the big announcement.

She admitted, however, that this season has her feeling a little less nervous than she has in years past.

"Usually, every season I'm really nervous, because it's a new challenge. I mean, you're getting to know someone who you have no idea about," she explained. "You get to know them, and you have to spend five to six hours a day with them teaching them to dance. So, it's all really nerve-wracking."

"But this time, I'm just really, really excited," she added. "It's just so different. So, I'm just excited to get started."

Carson also addressed some recurring DWTS criticism aimed at how the show frequently casts celeb contestants who seemingly have life-long dancing experience, and it seems even she takes issue with a few choices in the past.

"As long as you don't have ballroom [experience], you're accepted on the show, you know what I mean?" Carson said. "Even if you've danced your whole life, they're like, come on in. That's fair..."

However, she also admitted that having dance experience doesn't mean they are sure things, and some favored contestants often end up not going all the way.

"They have to have the story, they have to have the connection to the audience, and sometimes that's a lot harder to do than the actual dance part of it," Carson said. "So, we'll see what happens. It could be a very interesting season."

The official season 24 cast announcement will take place on Good Morning America on Wednesday. The new season of Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, March 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
