Snoop Dogg and other stars paid tribute to Ricky Harris after it was confirmed that the actor and comedian died on Monday at age 54.
A cause of death has not officially been confirmed but Harris' manager, Cindy Ambers, told the Los Angeles Times that he suffered a heart attack two years ago. Harris grew up with Snoop Dogg in Long Beach, California, and the two sang together in church.
He is perhaps best known for his recurring role in Chris Rock's sitcom Everybody Hates Chris and his role in the 1993 drama, Poetic Justice, which starred Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur. He also voiced numerous characters on hip hop albums, including several by Snoop Dogg.
