Cory Hardrict is looking toward the future following his divorce from Tia Mowry.
On Sunday, the All American: Homecoming star, 44, walked the carpet at the 2024 BET Awards with his and Mowry's 13-year-old son, Cree, where he opened up to ET's Deidre Behar about what has motivated him in the year since they finalized their divorce in April 2023.
"God's grace and a lot patience and just being still," Hardrict said. "And just leading by example. I'm just very determined and inspired to keep moving forward and keep taking care of my beautiful children."

Hardrict and Mowry, 45, announced the end of their 14-year marriage in October 2022. In April 2023, their divorce was finalized. Although the former couple's dynamic is different, they are still a family.
"Everything is fine. Everyone loves everybody," Hardrict, who also shares daughter Cairo, 6, with Mowry said. "We're one big happy family. We're still a family everything is great."
Hardrict is set to start alongside Meagan Good in the upcoming film, Divorce in the Black. While art imitates life, he's focused on all of the positivity.
"I stay still, I just do the work," he said about working through the next steps of his life and career. "A lot of praying, meditating and I just stay out the way and block out the noise. I'm just walking in purpose. That's all. I'm excited."

Hardrict and Cree were matching in designs by AMIRI. Mowry was also in attendance, but let the boys have their moment to shine together.
For Cree, his dreams have taken a pivot. Though he's a fixture in his mom's TikTok videos -- he's not thinking of following in his parents' footsteps.
"I want to be a professional basketball player when I grow up," he told ET.
"You heard him, NBA," Hardrict added. "Look out, my son's coming."
