The original Blue Ranger, Billy Cranston -- played David Yost on Fox's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers -- is rumored to have been named after the Breaking Bad star, who provided the voice for a number of monsters on the beloved series over 20 years ago.

The Power Rangers movie tweeted an official poster, promoting Cranston's role as Zordon, and wrote, "The mighty #Zordon has officially been cast! Please welcome #BryanCranston to the #PowerRangersMovie."

The Power Rangers is set to hit theaters March 24, 2017. In the meantime, check out this epic TBT from when ET visited the set of original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie back in 1995.
