DENVER — Thanks to a new feature in Spotify's Wrapped experience, people can see the top streamed songs for various cities, including Denver.
Spotify Wrapped allows users to see a summary of what they listened to throughout the year, from their top streamed songs and podcasts to the artist they spent the longest listening to.
This year, the streaming platform gave music fans much more.
The 2023 Wrapped experience expanded to more than 35 languages, features thank you videos from users' top streamed artists and shows people the city with listening trends that are most similar to theirs.
And, with this year's Wrapped Mapped feature, Spotify underscores streaming trends from cities all around the world— Denver is one of them.
So, what are Denverites listening to? Here are the top five streamed songs, according to Spotify:
Mexican singer Peso Pluma, along with Mexican American group Eslabon Armado, made Denver's top five songs. The 2023 hit single "Ella Baila Sola" is part of Eslabon Armado's DESVELADO album.
"Ella Baila Sola" was also Spotify's fifth most-streamed song in 2023.
Denverites also loved popstar Miley Cyrus' "Flowers," a song her eighth studio album Endless Summer Vacation, released earlier this year.
"Flowers" was Spotify's top-streamed song this year.
SZA's smash single "Kill Bill" was third in Denver's top-streamed songs— and the second most-streamed song on Spotify in 2023.
The Grammy Award-winning singer performed the hit song at Ball Arena back in October during the world tour for S.O.S., her second studio album.
Country singer Zach Bryan took second place with "Something in the Orange." The 2022 song's theme fits the title of the album it's part of: American Heartbreak, Bryan's third.
