KUSA - Amelia Earhart has returned to 9NEWS Mornings, reporting on traffic and breaking news from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday. Amelia got her television start right here at 9NEWS, reporting from SKY9, covering everything from police chases, to wildfires and severe weather.
"Returning to 9NEWS feels like coming home to a close group of friends and viewers who are tied directly into our Colorado community," she said.
In 2014, Amelia piloted a 28,000 mile flight around the world in a Pilatus PC-12NG, retracing her namesake's historic 1937 journey. She is the President of the Fly With Amelia Foundation, a Colorado based 501c3 non-profit, which provides flight training scholarships to young women.
