COLORADO, USA — Eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 reopened Tuesday morning between E-470 and the Kansas state line, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).
The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed Monday morning between Limon and the Kansas state line due to safety concerns, CDOT posted on the social platform known as X. On Monday afternoon, the I-70 closure was extended west to E-470. CDOT reported the lanes reopened around 11:11 a.m. Tuesday.
CDOT recommends people check COtrip.org to find out about road conditions, construction zones, and traffic alerts.
