WESTMINSTER, Colo. — A woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Westminster Sunday night, according to a release from Westminster Police.
Natalie Morena Mestas, 29, is facing charges including second-degree murder, domestic violence and possession of a firearm.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 7000 block of Winona Court around 10 p.m. Sunday.
When police arrived, they said they found several people in the street, including a man who had been shot. The victim, identified as 35-year-old Delvon Travis, was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
Mestas was arrested at the scene and taken to the Adams County Jail, police said.
