KUSA — The blustery conditions in much of Colorado Tuesday afternoon led to toppled trees and semi-trucks, downed power lines, wildfires and damaged roofs.

Wind gusts reached 89 miles per hour in Louisville, the National Weather Service said, and 83 mph near Rocky Flats.

Gusts topped 50 miles per hour in Denver.
