LYONS, Colorado — Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle, in consultation with the Town of Lyons, determined that the water flow rates in the North Saint Vrain Creek, South Saint Vrain Creek and the Saint Vrain River have sufficiently slowed to levels where the tubing ban has been rescinded, according to a release from the city of Boulder.
Although the tubing bans have been rescinded, people recreating on all bodies of water are encouraged to exercise caution and wear personal protection equipment including a life jacket, the release states.
