DENVER — Southbound Interstate 25 was backed up during Monday morning's commute due to a crash that led to a car fire.
Firefighters with the Denver Fire Department were working to extinguish a car fire on I-25 near Park Avenue at about 7 a.m.
SKY9 was over the scene of the burning car as emergency crews responded to the blaze. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire at about 7:15 a.m.
Due to the closure, traffic was backed up causing delays in the area. Denver Police said no injuries were reported.
