KUSA — LOVELAND - The Colorado Eagles defeated the Idaho Steelheads 1-0 in overtime in Game One on Saturday night.
Eagles defensiveman Collin Bowman scored the game-winning goal with 6:42 left in overtime. Colorado goaltender Joe Cannata had 35 saves in the shutout.
The Colorado Eagles return to the ice at Budweiser Events Center for Game Two in the best-of-seven series Sunday night at 7:05 p.m.
