A winter storm that dumped more than a foot of snow in some Colorado cities Sunday continued to cause headaches for travelers on the road Monday.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says a high wind advisory is in place along Interstate 70 between C-470 and the Eisenhower Tunnel.
Wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour were reported along that same stretch of I-70.
Out at Denver International Airport, only about a dozen flights have been canceled or delayed – far less than the 200 flights that were canceled on Sunday.
CDOT recommends that drivers slow down and allow for extra time when traveling.
